This is the SmartQ T5-II, a portable media player that can also do emulation. It comes with 600MHz processor, 5GB of capacity and a 3-inch display. It supports MP3, OGG, WMA, FLAC, APE, AAC, WAV music and AVI, XviD, DivX, MPEG and MP4 video formats.

Other than media playback, the SmartQ T5-II can also emulate as GBA and NEO GEO to play games. It has a SDHC memory card slot.

DVD-RAM or DVD-R (DL) are not supported. The device is DivX Ultra certified and supports Dolby Digital and DTS soundtracks.

JVC launches Super Slim Full HD LCD TV

JVC’s new super-slim LT-42S90 LCD TV features a cabinet that across most of its width measures a mere 39mm in depth, with a maximum thickness of just 74mm at the panel’s centre. This design ensures that from nearly any angle, these models present a super-slim appearance. Complementing the super-slim design is a thin 23mm bezel, which helps to further minimise the presence of the cabinet. It weighs less than 20kg and consumes 183watts one of the lowest figures in the industry today.

Sony Micro Hybrid Fuel Cell System

Sony shows the world a prototype of its newly developed micro size fuel-cell system. Measures abut 50×30mm, the micro size box packs fuel cell, Li-polymer secondary battery, control circuit  and other components.

The micro fuel cell uses methanol directly as fuel and it is an active fuel-cell system, which controls fuel supply with a pump. With 10mL of methanol, the device can supply power enough for a mobile phone to play 1seg movies for 14 hours.

Samsung officially announced the YP-S2 and YP-S3 music players. We have seen a video preview on the S3 before. It is an ultra-thin MP3 player, which is only 0.4-inch thick.  Other than MP3 and WMA playback, the S3 supports also MPEG-4 videos, JPEG images, FM radio and voice recording. It has 4GB of capacity and has a battery life of 25 hours for audio playback and 4 hours for video playback.

BenQ E800 Digital Camera

BenQ announced the new E800 digital camera. E800 comes with a 8.1 Megapixel CCD image sensor, 3x optical zoom lens, 5.1x digital zoom and ISO up to 1600. THere are a 2.7-inch LCD display and a 16MB built-in memory.

The E800 is able to capture 640×480 videos at 15fps or 320×240 videos at 30fps. The camera supports SD/SDHC memory cards. It will be available in end of May.
