Big Daddy keyboard is awesome

big-daddy.jpg

There are certain quarters who find it difficult to ease themselves into playing a musical instrument, despite having a rigorous and disciplined schedule only to find that the original inner fire has just had its last embers blown out. The Five Key Keyboard, also known as Big Daddy, could dispel such feelings. Created by Michael Robson who described as a “circuit bent keyboard”, this 27″ x 52″ x 41″ device won’t find any place in an orchestra but it is definitely a conversation starter where home decorative items are concerned.

Satan’s Ice Cream Truck” prowls Los Angeles

laist.com has posted a recording of the creepiest minor-key ice cream truck song known to man. It is undoubtedly a truck full of delicious yet horribly deformed licensed character frozen treats. (Photo caption: “I swear to God I did not pose someone in a creepy frock in front of the truck. They were standing there when I got there.”)
200803101145
The song continues to haunt me. I chased down the truck one day, but I didn’t find the answer I wanted. George, the ice cream man, said the song came with the truck when he bought it and he has no idea what it’s called. He said he keeps playing it because it is so memorable. Everybody comments on it. So, finally one day I ran outside and taped the music. I also bought an ice cream sandwich. Satan’s ice cream truck does sell ice cream sandwiches; it’s just your standard ice cream. Except for the the monkey’s paw. I really don’t recommend that one.

Trekstor holds data, opens beer bottles

trekstor.jpg

Now this is definitely one of the more useful drinking gadgets that I’ve come across in a long time, especially when I keep myself entertained in front of the PC with some pizza and beer in hand. No longer do I need to take a walk to the kitchen to pick up a bottle opener, as this Trekstor USB flash drive will be able to do that for me. You won’t find me complaining about the 8GB worth of storage space inside, either. No idea on how much it costs though.
